Our annual Fall gathering, pot luck and business meeting was held at Linda Merola's home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. There was a lot of delicious food and interesting conversation. The business meeting covered many topics. Milagros Cruz, of the International Rescue Committee NYC spoke of the agency's work and how we could help. Bette Bass reported on the Pedals for Progress collection and we chose May 2, 2020 as our target date for next year. Bette spoke about advocacy alerts and the Day of Action on Capitol Hill. We remembered our friend, Jay Griffing, who passed away this year. The group will make a donation of $100 in his memory to the Lustgarten Foundation.
