Update on Peace Corps Evacuation of all Volunteers

This was just posted (March 20) on another affiliate groups' Facebook page. Lyn Dobrin emailed the link as  well.

Don't know what else to say....

NPCA has had 2 town hall meetings with the leadership of affiliate groups to strategize on how to help the returning PCVs.  Our leadership attended, and, once plans are in place, will let us know what we can do.

This  information was confirmed at the NPCA town hall. The Volunteers may reapply , but no guarantee that they will be accepted or assigned to their former country of service.

If you can't read the article here, it's also on our RPCVs of LI  facebook page.

The volunteers, suddenly jobless, are returning to a country with an economy in free fall.
