Welcome to RPCVs of Long Island!

What We Do

Our mission is to use the knowledge and skills we learned as Peace Corps Volunteers to help Americans understand the people and cultures of other countries.

The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Long Island was founded in 1994. We now have a mailing list of 220 returned volunteers on Long Island who served in 71 countries. We are affiliated with the National Peace Corps Association.

We meet locally for social activities and volunteer work and provide speakers to schools and community groups. We support current Peace Corps volunteers in their efforts to promote world peace and friendship.
